January 26, 2023: Tenafly, NJ 07670 Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wayne Hills Patriots (Wayne, NJ), 63-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Tenafly upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Park Ridge lost 59-41 in their recent non-league bout against River Dell (Oradell, NJ)
Next up, the Patriots play the Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) in a Big North - Independence bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Wayne Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Cutters come into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, NJ).
