Massachusetts High School Basketball - Bridgewater-Raynham holds off Norwood
January 26, 2023: Norwood, MA 02062 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans (Bridgewater, MA) and the host Norwood Mustangs (Norwood, MA), saw Bridgewater-Raynham's basketball squad hold off Norwood by a tally of 49-43.
With the victory, Bridgewater-Raynham improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Newton North (Newtonville, MA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 29. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-1.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Norton Lancers (Norton, MA) in a Tri-Valley challenge, on Friday, January 27. Norwood will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 59-28 league loss to Medfield (Medfield, MA).
