Potts Camp Cardinals (Potts Camp, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Byers Lions (Holly Springs, MS), 48-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Potts Camp upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Cardinals host Charleston (Charleston, MS) to play the Tigers in a 2A Region 2 bout on Friday, January 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-7.
