New York High School Basketball - East Rochester trounced by Our Lady of Mercy
January 26, 2023: East Rochester, NY 14445 The Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs routed the host East Rochester Bombers basketball team by a final score of 69-36 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Monarchs face the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Private Parochial game, on Thursday, February 2. Our Lady of Mercy will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record.
With the defeat, East Rochester moves to 10-6 on the year. The Bombers travel to Sodus (Sodus, NY) to face the Spartans in a non-league game on Friday, January 27. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 1-4. Sodus lost 55-17 in their recent non-league game against Lyons (Lyons, NY)
