The Newmarket Mules basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Mascenic Regional Vikings to 30 in the Mules non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mules now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portsmouth Christian Academy for a Division IV contest on Monday, January 30. Newmarket will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-41 league loss to Sunapee (Sunapee, NH). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

The Vikings (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Woodsville (Woodsville, NH). The Engineers enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record.
