The Sumiton Christian Eagles basketball team scored 33 points and held the host Meek Tigers to 31 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dora for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Sumiton Christian will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-22 league win over Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-7.

The Tigers (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-20 record.
