Virginia High School Basketball - Rappahannock overwhelms West Point
January 26, 2023: West Point, VA 23181 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA) and the host West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), saw Rappahannock's basketball squad wallop West Point by a tally of 59-29.
With the victory, Rappahannock improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA) to confront the Seahorses in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Seahorses come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Christchurch School won 68-38 in their recent league challenge against St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA)
Next up, the Pointers confront the Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines (Chester, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. West Point will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 39-12 non-league loss to Middlesex (Saluda, VA).
