Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA), 40-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilson Area upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA) to clash with the Green Knights in a Colonial - East bout on Saturday, January 28. The Green Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Pen Argyl won 61-33 in their recent non-league bout against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Saucon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 49-16 non-league win over Palisades (Kintnersville, PA).
