January 26, 2023: Palo Alto, CA 94306 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) and the host Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA), saw Cupertino's basketball squad overcome Gunn by a tally of 38-28.
With the victory, Cupertino improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Milpitas (Milpitas, CA) to confront the Trojans in a challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Milpitas won 44-11 in their recent league challenge against Kathleen MacDonald (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Titans confront the Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Gunn will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 47-30 league win over Pioneer (San Jose, CA).
