Utah High School Basketball - Timpview nudges Cedar Valley
January 26, 2024: Eagle Mountain, UT 84005 Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT), 78-73 in a league bout.
With the win, Timpview upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Wasatch (Heber City, UT) to clash with the Wasps in a 5A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wasps go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Wasatch lost 74-62 in their recent league bout against Springville (Springville, UT)
Next up, the Aviators clash with the Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT) in a 5A Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Cedar Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 74-62 league win over Wasatch (Heber City, UT).
