Lewiston Bengals (Lewiston, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Clarkston Bantams (Clarkston, WA), 57-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lewiston upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Bengals host Coeur d'Alene (Coeur d'Alene, ID) to play the Vikings in a 5A/4A Inland Empire bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Coeur d'Alene won 60-54 in their recent league bout against Post Falls (Post Falls, ID)

Next up, the Bantams play the Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Clarkston will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 79-60 league win over Shadle Park (Spokane, WA).
