The Cody Comets basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Davis Aerospace Tech Aviators to 27 in the Comets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osborn for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Cody will meet a Knights team coming off a 72-56 league win over Communication Media Arts (Detroit, MI). The Knights record now stands at 10-6.

The Aviators (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Crockett Tech (Detroit, MI). The Rockets enter the Freelance contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Crockett Tech triumphed over Academy of the Americas (Detroit, MI), 35-15, in a league contest.
