The Sale Creek Panthers (Sale Creek, TN) basketball knocked off the visiting Copper Basin Cougars (Copperhill, TN), 57-43 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Lookout Valley (Chattanooga, TN). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A District 5 test with a 1-15 record. In their last test, Lookout Valley went down by St. Andrews-Sewanee (Sewanee, TN), 50-36, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts for a 1A District 5 test on Monday, January 29.
