In Friday's league match, the host East Ridge Pioneers basketball team scored a good 63-50 triumph over the Hixson Wildcats.

In their next game, the Pioneers meet the Chattanooga Central Pounders (Harrison, TN) in a 3A District 6 match, on Monday, January 29. East Ridge will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record.
