The Liberty Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Monmouth Regional Falcons to 37 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a Shore C contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Falcons (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ). The Bishops enter the non-league contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Asbury Park was crushed by Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ), 54-36, in a league bout.
