The Logansport Berries basketball team (Logansport, IN), was overwhelmed 88-56 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Marion Giants (Marion, IN)

The Giants now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muncie Central for a North Central battle on Thursday, February 1. Marion will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 61-53 non-league loss to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-11.

The Berries (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Twin Lakes was overwhelmed by Northwestern (Kokomo, IN), 59-52, in a non-league battle.
