Pocola Indians (Pocola, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Talihina Golden Tigers (Talihina, OK), 73-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Pocola upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Stigler (Stigler, OK) to clash with the Panthers in a Black Diamond bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Stigler won 51-41 in their recent league bout against Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK)

Next up, the Golden Tigers clash with the Heavener Wolves (Heavener, OK) in a Black Diamond bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Talihina will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 55-34 league win over Wilburton (Wilburton, OK).
