North Carolina High School Basketball - Thomasville overwhelmed by Salisbury
January 26, 2024: Thomasville, NC 27360 The Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Thomasville Bulldogs to 39 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Davidson for a 1A/2A Central Carolina contest on Tuesday, January 30. Salisbury will battle a Dragons team coming off a 51-33 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Dragons record now stands at 7-11.
The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers come into the 1A/2A Central Carolina contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, North Rowan triumphed over South Davidson (Denton, NC), 83-66, in a league contest.
