With the win, Cedar Falls upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Tigers host Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA) to clash with the Hawks in a Mississippi Valley bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-12.
Next up, the Little Cyclones clash with the Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Ames will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 55-51 league loss to Indianola (Indianola, IA).
