January 26, 2024: Mayfield, KY 42066 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) and the visiting Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY), saw Mayfield's basketball squad overcome Ballard Memorial by a tally of 52-35.
With the victory, Mayfield improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Fulton County (Hickman, KY) to confront the Pilots in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Pilots come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Fulton County won 71-31 in their recent league challenge against Hickman County (Clinton, KY)
Next up, the Bombers confront the Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Ballard Memorial will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 45-12 non-league loss to Trico (Campbell Hill, IL).
