Kentucky High School Basketball - Campbellsville holds off Marion County
January 26, 2024: Lebanon, KY 40033 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Campbellsville Eagles (Campbellsville, KY) and the host Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY), saw Campbellsville's basketball squad hold off Marion County by a tally of 50-45.
With the victory, Campbellsville improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to North Hardin (Radcliff, KY) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 21-12. North Hardin won 69-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Breckinridge County (Harned, KY)
Next up, the Knights confront the Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Marion County will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 49-23 non-league loss to Seneca (Louisville, KY).
