Kansas High School Basketball - Neodesha nips Caney Valley
January 26, 2024: Caney, KS 67333 Neodesha Blue Streaks (Neodesha, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Caney Valley Bullpups (Caney, KS), 55-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Neodesha upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks travel to Fredonia (Fredonia, KS) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Fredonia lost 58-39 in their recent non-league bout against Eureka (Eureka, KS)
Next up, the Bullpups play the Bluestem Lions (Leon, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Caney Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 48-44 non-league loss to Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS).
