January 26, 2024: Colome, SD 57528 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) and the host Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), saw Platte/Geddes's basketball squad wallop Colome by a tally of 56-26.
With the victory, Platte/Geddes improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Black Panthers host Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD) to confront the Cubs in a A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.
Next up, the Cowboys confront the Marty Indian Braves (Marty, SD) in a B Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Colome will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 69-54 non-league win over Wakpala (Wakpala, SD).
