The Pickens Dragons basketball team (Jasper, GA), was nudged 53-46 in Friday's league battle with the host Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA)

The Tigers now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horizon Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 30.

The Dragons (19-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 9-13 record. In their last battle, Lumpkin County was nudged by Murray County (Chatsworth, GA), 63-57, in a non-league battle.
