Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX), 62-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Ridge Point upgrades its record to 17-12 on the season. The Panthers host Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 28-1. Fort Bend Austin won 87-36 in their recent league bout against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX)

Next up, the Rangers clash with the Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Fort Bend Clements will attempt to upgrade on its 3-22 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 9-18 record after their 64-46 league loss to Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX).
