Minnesota High School Basketball - Fridley tops Washburn
January 26, 2024: Fridley, MN 55432 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fridley Tigers (Fridley, MN) and the visiting Washburn Millers (Minneapolis, MN), saw Fridley's basketball squad knock off Washburn by a tally of 68-48.
With the victory, Fridley improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. St. Croix Lutheran won 70-35 in their recent non-league challenge against New Life Academy (Woodbury, MN)
Next up, the Millers play the Edison Tommies (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Washburn will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Tommies come into the challenge with a 0-19 record after their 72-13 non-league loss to Henry/Minneapolis North (Minneapolis, MN).
