Missouri High School Basketball - Gallatin tops Lafayette County
January 26, 2024: Gallatin, MO 64640 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Gallatin Bulldogs (Gallatin, MO) and the visiting Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO), saw Gallatin's basketball squad knock off Lafayette County by a tally of 68-50.
With the victory, Gallatin improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Milan (Milan, MO) to play the Wildcats in a Grand River challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Milan won 45-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris (Galt, MO)
Next up, the Huskers play the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) in a Missouri River Valley - East challenge, on Monday, January 29. Lafayette County will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 44-37 non-league loss to Jamestown (Jamestown, MO).
