Maryland High School Basketball - Pocomoke holds off Nandua
January 26, 2024: Pocomoke, MD 21851 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pocomoke Warriors (Pocomoke, MD) and the visiting Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA), saw Pocomoke's basketball squad hold off Nandua by a tally of 45-39.
With the victory, Pocomoke improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Decatur (Berlin, MD) to confront the Seahawks in a Bayside - South challenge on Monday, January 29. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Decatur lost 50-39 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) in a Eastern Shore challenge, on Monday, January 29. Nandua will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 41-22 league win over Northampton (Eastville, VA).
