In Friday's league match, the visiting Westminster Academy Crusaders basketball team scored a good 59-50 triumph over the North Central Hurricanes.

In their next game, the Crusaders meet the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA) in a 1A District 6 match, on Friday, February 2. Westminster Academy will attempt to move on its 12-11 season record.
