Colorado High School Basketball - Pueblo South nudges Pueblo West
January 26, 2024: Pueblo West, CO 81007 Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pueblo West Cyclones (Pueblo West, CO), 57-51 in a league bout.
With the win, Pueblo South upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Colts travel to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Red-Tailed Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Cheyenne Mountain won 54-39 in their recent non-league bout against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO)
Next up, the Cyclones clash with the Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Pueblo West will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 52-41 non-league win over The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO).
