The Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL), 16-3 in Friday's league test.

The Lions now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huntsville for a AL East test on Saturday, February 3. Briarwood Christian will face a Panthers squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) in a AL East test, on Friday, March 15. Homewood will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
