In Friday's league outing, the Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 67-38.

The Trojans (20-0) will now prepare for their outing against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks go into the 4A/3A MEGA 7 outing with a 1-16 record. In their last outing, West Mecklenburg was trounced by Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology (Charlotte, NC), 83-39, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 2-17 record. They take the field next when they host East Gaston for a 4A/3A MEGA 7 outing on Tuesday, January 31. Garinger will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 83-57 league loss to Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 8-11.
