Nebraska High School Basketball - Platteview holds off Beatrice
January 27, 2022: Beatrice, NE 68310 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) and the host Beatrice Orangemen (Beatrice, NE), saw Platteview's basketball squad hold off Beatrice by a tally of 41-35.
With the victory, Platteview improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Ralston (Ralston, NE) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 3. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Ralston lost 81-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Wahoo (Wahoo, NE)
Next up, the Orangemen confront the Norris Titans (Firth, NE) in a B District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Beatrice will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 57-53 non-league loss to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE).
