January 27, 2022: Gahanna, OH 43230 The Columbus Academy Vikings (Gahanna, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Marion-Franklin Red Devils (Columbus, OH), 51-44 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vikings (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH). The Barons go into the Mid-State - Ohio test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Buckeye Valley got by Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH), 60-54, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Africentric Early College for a Columbus City - South test on Friday, January 28. Marion-Franklin will encounter a Nubians squad coming off a 68-21 league win over West (Columbus, OH). The Nubians record now stands at 13-4.
