Whitefish Bulldogs (Whitefish, MT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lincoln County Lions (Eureka, MT), 47-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Whitefish upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Browning (Browning, MT) to clash with the Indians in a A Northwest bout on Friday, January 28. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Browning won 66-53 in their recent non-league bout against Shelby (Shelby, MT)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Plains Horsemen (Plains, MT) in a B District 7 bout, on Saturday, January 29. Lincoln County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Horsemen go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 76-36 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, MT).
