January 27, 2022: Weatherly, PA 18255 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) and the host Weatherly (Weatherly, PA), saw Northwest Area's basketball squad wallop Weatherly by a tally of 56-30.
With the victory, Northwest Area improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Sullivan County (Laporte, PA) to confront the Griffins in a Midd-Penn challenge on Saturday, January 29. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Sullivan County lost 63-40 in their recent league challenge against Neumann Regional Academy (Williamsport, PA)
Next up, the confront the Mahanoy Area Golden Bears (Mahanoy City, PA) in a Schuylkill County 3 challenge, on Saturday, January 29. Weatherly will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 62-58 league loss to Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA).
