January 27, 2022: Conrad, IA 50621 The Colo-NESCO Royals basketball team (Colo, IA), was routed 46-24 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host BCLUW Comets (Conrad, IA)
The Comets now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gladbrook-Reinbeck for a North Iowa Cedar - West battle on Friday, January 28. BCLUW will battle a Rebels team coming off a 80-33 non-league loss to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 6-11.
The Royals (4-14) will now prepare for their battle against Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA). The come into the Iowa Star battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Collins-Maxwell trounced GMG (Garwin, IA), 55-28, in a league battle.
