The Portage Indians (Portage, IN) basketball crushed the visiting Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN), 56-31 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Indians (12-10) will now prepare for their test against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Crown Point walloped Michigan City (Michigan City, IN), 70-21, in a league test.
