The Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) basketball knocked off the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 64-53 in Thursday's league test.

The Warriors (13-10) will now prepare for their test against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Barbs go into the DuPage Valley test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, DeKalb went down by Sycamore (Sycamore, IL), 56-51, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 3-19 record. They play next when they host Streamwood for a non-league test on Saturday, January 29. Metea Valley will encounter a Sabres squad coming off a 56-42 league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Sabres record now stands at 2-21.
