January 27, 2023: Hartford, CT Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix (Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Achievement First (Hartford, CT), 71-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Phoenix travel to Bulkeley (Hartford, CT) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Capitol Region bout on Monday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Bulkeley lost 65-61 in their recent league bout against Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT)
Next up, the clash with the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT) in a Capitol Region bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Achievement First will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Ravens go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 71-46 non-league win over Goodwin Tech (New Britain, CT).
