The Tennessee School for the Deaf (Knoxville, TN) varsity basketball team lost Friday's neutral tournament game against Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL) by a score of 61-23.
The Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Tennessee School for the Deaf Vikings to 23 in the Silent Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Silent Warriors now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Florida School for the Deaf & Blind for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Alabama School for the Deaf will battle a Dragons team coming off a 62-22 non-league win over N.C. School for the Deaf (Morganton, NC). The Dragons record now stands at 7-13.
The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against N.C. School for the Deaf (Morganton, NC). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, N.C. School for the Deaf was routed by Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL), 62-22, in a non-league contest.
