The Baldwyn Bearcats basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting East Union Urchins to 33 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Booneville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 1. Baldwyn will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 51-30 non-league win over Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 21-1.

The Urchins (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Thrasher (Booneville, MS). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 5-13 record.
