The Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT) basketball nipped the host Cedar Reds (Cedar City, UT), 69-63 in Friday's league test.

The Thunder (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Hurricane (Hurricane, UT). The Tigers go into the 4A Region 10 test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Hurricane was tipped by Dixie (St. George, UT), 64-45, in a league test.

The Reds now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Crimson Cliffs for a 4A Region 10 test on Wednesday, February 1. Cedar will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 51-38 league win over Snow Canyon (St. George, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-5.
