Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Clarion Area nudges Union

January 27, 2023: Clarion, PA 16214

Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Union Knights/Damsels (Rimersburg, PA), 62-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarion Area upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Bobcats travel to North Clarion (Tionesta, PA) to clash with the Wolves in a Keystone Shortway - Small bout on Saturday, January 28. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 2-9.

Next up, the Knights/Damsels clash with the Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 78-71 league loss to Butler (Butler, PA).
