January 27, 2023: Clinton, TN 37716 In Friday's league outing, the Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN) basketball squad edged the host Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN), by a count of 48-47.
The Highlanders (8-13) will now prepare for their outing against Halls (Knoxville, TN). The Red Devils go into the 3A District 4 outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, Halls held off Anderson County (Clinton, TN), 59-51, in a league outing.
The Dragons now hold a 7-17 record. They play next when they travel to Fulton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 31. Clinton will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 75-38 non-league win over Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 16-5.
