Texas High School Basketball - Wall nips Clyde
January 27, 2023: Wall, TX 76957 Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Clyde Bulldogs (Clyde, TX), 57-53 in a league bout.
With the victory, Wall upgrades its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Ballinger (Ballinger, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 3A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 10-18. Ballinger lost 49-26 in their recent league bout against Merkel (Merkel, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles (San Angelo, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Clyde will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 22-5 record after their 103-18 league win over Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX).
