Tennessee High School Basketball - Columbia Central topped by Hillwood
January 27, 2023: Columbia, TN 38401 The Hillwood Hilltoppers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Columbia Central Lions to 58 in the Hilltoppers non-league victory on Friday.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maplewood for a 3A District 10 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Hillwood will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-47 league win over Hume-Fogg (Nashville, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 10-10.
The Lions (3-16) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Hill (Columbia, TN). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Spring Hill prevailed over Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN), 66-28, in a league contest.
