In Friday's non-league match, the host Crossroads Christian Colts basketball team scored a decisive 87-48 triumph over the New Garden Friends Bears.

In their next game, the Colts meet the Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles (Erwin, NC) in a NCISAA Mid-Carolina match, on Tuesday, January 31. Crossroads Christian will attempt to move on its 21-6 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 12-12 record after their 74-25 non-league win over Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC).

With the defeat, New Garden Friends moves to 16-5 on the year. The Bears travel to Asheboro Hybrid Academy (Asheboro, NC) to meet the Warriors in a CAASC Central Carolina - West match on Monday, January 30. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 4-11.
