Delaware High School Basketball - Delmarva Christian overwhelmed by St. Mark's
January 27, 2023: Wilmington, DE 19808 The Delmarva Christian Royals basketball team (Georgetown, DE), was overwhelmed 80-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the host St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE)
The Spartans now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Elizabeth for a Freelance battle on Monday, January 30. St. Mark's will battle a Vikings team coming off a 55-25 non-league win over Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 10-5.
The Royals (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Worcester Prep (Berlin, MD). The Mallards come into the Eastern Shore battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Worcester Prep was overwhelmed by Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE), 63-54, in a league battle.
