January 27, 2023: Turner, MT 59542 In Friday's non-league outing, the Turner Tornadoes (Turner, MT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Dodson Coyotes (Dodson, MT), by a margin of 70-49.
The Tornadoes (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Box Elder (Box Elder, MT). The Bears go into the C District 9 outing with a 7-0 record. In their last outing, Box Elder smashed North Star (Rudyard, MT), 66-38, in a league outing.
The Coyotes now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Nashua for a C District 3 outing on Saturday, January 28. Dodson will clash with a Porcupines squad coming off a 56-50 league win over Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale (Saco, MT). The Porcupines record now stands at 6-2.
